- PRINCE2® is an international standard, used as a preferred project management approach with organisations around the world.
- PRINCE2® can be applied to all kinds of projects and situations.
- It gives a written description of how to manage a project in a logical, organised way, following defined steps.
A successful method for project management
Writing your organisation's own customised set of standards can be a time-consuming and costly business. Then why not using an existing best practice standard and flexing it to your organisation's needs? The use of PRINCE2® is free. Users can employ the method for their own projects without being tied to specific consultants.
Thousands of people around the world are fully qualified as PRINCE2® practitioners. This creates a virtuous circle: the more people who have taken the PRINCE2® exams, the more benefit there is in organisations adopting it, and the more organisations that adopt it, the more people there will be who become qualified to use it.
Why go for your PRINCE2® Foundation?
The PRINCE2® Foundation does what it says: it lays the grounds. It can best be compared with passing the theoretical test for your driving licence.
After passing your Foundation exam, you will understand the full extend of what PRINCE2® can mean for your projects. You will know the common language, the rules, the responsibilities, the tools, the structured steps, the planning stages, etc, in order to finish your projects on time, within budget and without sleepless nights, …
Hungry for more after your Foundation? The PRINCE2® Practitioner will be the equivalent of your 'on the road' driving licence examination, where you will be trained to use PRINCE2® in full.
The PRINCE2® Foundation exam is a closed book examination with 60 questions to be completed in one hour. 33 correct answers (or 55%) are required to pass.
